He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought,
Please , let me go home.... suddenly he asked the waiter.. "would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee."
Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still, he
put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously; why? you
have this hobby? He replied: "when I was a little boy, I was living near
the sea, I like playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea,
just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty
coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there". While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched. That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home. Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice
talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story. They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee! Then the story was just like every beautiful love story , the princess married to the prince, then they were living the happy life... And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee e, as she knew that's the way he liked it.
After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: "My dearest,
please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said
to you---the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so
nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt It
was hard for me to change so I just went ahead.I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything..
Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste.. But I have had the salty
coffee for my whole life! Since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life. If I can live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again". Her tears made the letter totally wet.
Someday, someone asked her: what's the taste of salty coffee?
It's sweet. She replied.
Love is not 2 forget but 2 forgive, not 2 c but 2 understand, not 2 hear but 2 listen, not 2 let go but 2 HOLD ON
Don't ever leave the one you love for the one you like, because the ones
you like will leave you for the ones they love. Find a guy, who calls you beautiful instead of hot. Who calls you back when you hang up on him. Who will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead. Who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats. Who holds your hand in front of his friends. Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you. Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "...that's her."

Any problems with 20-20 ?

Like every new thing,20-20 cricket has got both of the good and the 'not so good' aspects. In the "fast-track" era that we are living in today,it seems to be the best form of cricket.truly! if u can get an outcome of a cricket match in 3 hours then why go for the longer format (50-50) of the game.work hard througout the day, come home, and hey! there is a team coming up as the winner.Students dont have to waste time 7-8 hours waiting for the result.apart from the entertainment point of view, cricket boards around the globe are reaping ample commercial benefits of the shorter version of the game.in addition,it is evident that the age old game is now gaining popularity with enormous number of sponsers coming up as it is the case with other games like tennis, football etc ,all of these games yielding a winner in quick succession.
But everything that glitters is not gold, rather it may fade away in no time.who knows? The so called "phataphat cricket" has got a dark side to the game itself as well as to the spectators. If not, then why test cricket, the basic foundation of the game, is loosing ground nowadays? foget about the tests, why only 15-20 people were seen in the stadium in a 50 overs game between two stalwart nations (india and west-indies) of the game of cricket, just recently? the very viewers,so delighted about 20-20,somehow fail to realise that the time saved by not watching 5 days of test cricket is the same time wasted in watching a 20-20 match everyday, the point is,we have a match every now and then, these days.Just tune in to your tv set and remain stuck to it because a 20-20 is going on,right?think of the players who fail to deliver in the 50-50 games, where it matters the most, thanks to the busy schedule of 20-20 throughout the year. And to list the trifles, the bowlers are adversely demoralised,as it is badly favoured towards the batsmen.
To wind up, i think ,20-20 has indeed attached spice to the game but i m not sure how long it will last, owing to the speculations of advent of 5-5 overs game which may be followed by only toss-toss format!!!.we should bear in mind the old saying, whatever goes above par, swiftly, comes down to average swiftly......

How "useful" SLEDGING is !
There might be a huge ongoing debate on wthether SLEDGING should be banned by ICC or not. What really should be banned is -punishing the player who retaliated while sparing the one who provoked (sledged).Either punish both or neither.I personally feel that we,the Indians should be happy with the foreign players SLEDGING the indian players simply because :
- The world saw Shreesanth hit a six straight over the head of Andre Nel the very next delivery after Nel had challenged Shreesanth to show his guts.Nel & other South Africans had their tongue out like a toad.
- In a test match with England, when Zaheer Khan was batting,"jelly beans" were thrown on his creeze from the slip region & he had a verbal exchange with Kevin Peterson. The result : Zaheer struk back with 5 wkts in England innings forcing them to loose the match. He had also featured in an important partnership in which he had contributed 28 runs.
- In the 1st ever 20-20 world cup,Andrew Flintoff tried to upset Yuvraj with words, & guess what happenned next, 6 sixes in an over of Stuart Broad whose over followed Flintoff 's.He went on to break & make many records in that match like 50 runs in12 balls etc.
- when the Harbhajjan & Symonds feud came to light in the test series with the Aussies,to follow was the CB series(1-day), Harbhajjan dismissed Symonds in almost every match.
So, history has it that the indians came all guns blazing whenever it was required.Whenever they have tried to hit us with words, our sense of pride has hammered them back with action.
Hence,Don't dare to mess with the Indians through cheap acts of SLEDGING, that too for your own good........

aaj ka ARJUN, kal ka DURYODHAN

Show me a nation where secularism & reservation(based on caste) both co-exist! ......yes,u hav guessed it right,INDIA-a country where majority lives like minority.
"I don't care if he studies hard, instead he should be scared of me because i m an SC candidate, and can mar his seat in the civil service exams",says a 'below average' SC student about a labourious 'general category' student. What an attitude!!! If this does not stir up your blood, then u must either be an SC/ST/OBC or u might have gone old enough to retaliate. Look how proud he is! if they are trying to cme at par with the common people, then where does the ego of superiority come from? Are they really so backward til now that they need reservation? If yes, then how is the reservation giving them cmplacence?
Today,'brain drain' is problem forIndia and a major reason for further progress of developed countries like USA . i also, personally, like many other general category students don't want to live in a nation where caste has an edge over merit & labour. Thanks to Mr. Arjun Singh & co. who have really worked hard to bring this day alive.Congratulations! for the "satta" u got from all this......Three-cheers to the Congress party for the success of their "divide & rule" policy. For those who disagree,I have got a simple question-"if they are so concerned with the nation's progress, then why not 'reservation on economic basis' is implemented?"The straight answer is because most of the states have at least 40% of their population under the combined SC/ST/OBC/MINORITY community, which yield them votes to remain in power.
Let us all pledge together to root out the curse named "reservation" & hence the abnoxious weed named "congress"(UPA government) along with its old faithful dogs.

Great attempt sir!!!
one might say that the airlines should cut prices after the lowering of ATF costs, or let the airlines recoup their losses first, the debate may go on and on.But,hold on,look how shrewd the government is! how eager our PM is to pressurise & bring down the aviation prices!......With the assembly polls at an arms distance, are u trying to pull the curtains on the 12% price-rise that your reign saw? Are you still hoping to somehow sand the eyes of the people inspite of filure in economic development,to tame terorrism etc.? Merely, bringing prices down will not account for the incompettance that the govt has shown to run the administration, especially in the finance department. For those who are trying to put the hat on the public by passing the buck on to the global meltdown, let me tell u,price rise in India was way over 8% just when petrol was $120 a barell, after which the actual economic recession started all over the world.....I feel that the script of the vast unemployment that is ahead of our country today, had been written long before the global crumble, when last year prices started to escalate horribly which prompted the companies like-wipro,satyam,tcs,infosys etc.to guarantee a lesser no of rcruits in the coming years.

Is the aussie dominance on world cricket over?
It seems to be a million dollar question in the aftermath of 2-0 test series defeat of aussies and a one-day series(CB series) defeat at home earlier this year, that whether they still stand as no.1 or not."Is aussie dominance on world cricket over?".....well the answer is a straight NO!. Its early days, too early to forget that they have won 21 ODIs,16 tests & 3 world cups on the trot.Though, past glory & success dont persist forever and a time will come when a new king of cricket will be crowned, but it has not come as yet.i feel so because, i dont find another team,if not india,to be even at a challenging par with the aussies. And oh! india-"no.1"...wait a sec, have u forgotten the 440 volts shock that the indian team has a history of giving to its fans every now and then it is hiped so much?Since it is india, who is claiming the crown,we have to wait n watch till its complete coronation as india holds the record of losing 11 ODI series finals on the trot -a symtom of getting complacent after managing to reach the jugdgement day!
